New Play “Lions and Tigers” at the Shakespeare’s Globe in London

A new play by leading playwright Tanika Gupta premieres at the Shakespeare Globe on 23rd August 2017 until 16^th September 2017. Based on the true story of her great uncle and freedom fighter Dinesh Gupta, Lions and Tigers tells the story of these forgotten martyrs of Indian independence and gives insights into the battles between the British lions and the Bengal tigers. Notable figures such as Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru also make appearances.
